The wasp-like Vespoid are part of that roster of small monsters ripe with useful body awesomely-craftable parts – and these Vespoid are frequently the objective (or part) of large-kill quests.
For those making armor sets in Monster Hunter: World, you need wings and shells to craft the low-rank Vespoid armor, as well as carapaces and innerwings to craft the high-rank set. Below, we cover the best Vespoid locations to harvest crafting items from these annoying little bugs.

How To Find Vespoid In MH World
Vespoid are found frequently in the northeast end of the Ancient Forest (see the map below for the specific location), as well as to the northeast of the Eastern Camp in the Wildspire Waste.
Don’t forget that you can filter the results on the map to only show small monsters, which will appear as little green dots!
There’s a big problem to Vespoid farming, however – Vespoid frequently explode when attacked, so it’s hard to farm the parts you need. There’s a few ways around this issue if you bring the right tools.
A monster hunter can take Vespoid down with a net in a few hits, or use the slinger to fire stones or redpits. Either way lets you carve the Vespoid easily instead of shattering it. These wasps also tend to respawn quickly, so you can engage in Vespoid harvesting as long as you like in these locations.
